I’m Brook, and together with Lilla and our awesome interns, we’re building Honeyflow HeartWork as a joyful resistance to business‑as‑usual. Rooted in somatics, creativity, and self-care, our collective offers healing business tools from an anti‑capitalist lens.

We’ve lived the tension of wanting to build impact without burning out—and we trained ourselves in body-centered regulation because we had to. Now, we teach from that grounded place. You don’t need to do it all alone—or at all.
Together, we create innovative, sustainable offerings aligned with your rhythms. We prioritize access, vulnerability, trauma-informed learning, ancestral wisdom, rest, and collective care.

Lilla is a lifelong student and teacher who blends academic brilliance, magical thinking, and embodied movement into every aspect of her work. She helps folks transform personal experience into ethical, resonant education through her own method: The Maneki Method.

Lilla’s got a lot of Gemini in her chart, so it makes sense that she’s always moving, exploring, and curious about expanding her knowledge of the world. She grew up in a solidly pragmatic University of Chicago academic family surrounded by great brains - she was able to use her time in this wonderfully mind-intelligence-centered community to master several foreign languages as well as acquire practical humanities skills such as a critical understanding of narrative and style, and a rigorous editorial eye.
But Lilla’s wanderings as an adult have taken her (literally) across the world in pursuit of many other types of wisdom. She deep dived first into the world of physical intelligence, training hard in everything from competitive pole dance to dance roller skating, parkour and martial arts. Lilla’s also always been a dedicated visual artist. She is proud to have received an MFA with honors from the prestigious New York Academy of Art in printmaking and drawing, and has been involved in the illustration and publication of numerous creative projects such as children’s stories, poetry anthologies, and tarot decks.

Most recently, Lilla has been drawn to study the nuances of permaculture and homesteading as she learns to live in greater harmony with the land out in gorgeous Southwest Michigan. A fascination with magic, the metaphysical, and holistic growth and healing have also always been her constant companions, and she is learning more about the nuances of mind-body wellness every day. Lilla even went on to create the Maneki Method modality of guidance in order to help other curious souls learn to live out of the highest version of their own unique archetypal destiny blueprint. Ultimately, the most vital common thread across her whole journey has been her love of teaching. So, whether it is a course on DIY sourdough, honey flow yoga, or a private Maneki session, we think you will notice that Lilla’s heart and soul is always deeply and truly present with each and every student who feels called to work with her.

Brook is our strategy whisperer and soul-centered systems builder. They guide creators from overwhelm to clarity with care, depth, and that rare kind of genius that’s equal parts mystical and practical.

Brook is the heartbeat behind Honeyflow Heartwork— a systems-minded builder with a mystic’s intuition, a strategist’s brain, and a deep, devotional love for weirdness, wellness, and world-making.
They’ve spent their life turning “too much” into a map: a guide for others who’ve also been told they’re too sensitive, too intense, too different. Raised in a working-class, deeply capitalistic family and community where TV reigned and being “weird” wasn’t welcomed, Brook learned early how isolating it can be to think and feel deeply in a world that values speed and sameness. But rather than shrink, they chose to build — new systems, new language, new family, and new possibilities.
At just 22, Brook founded a three-story nonprofit community center in Chicago that served 22 donation-based programs and partnered with five local agencies. Though they were successful by every standard — managing a half-million dollar budget and gaining recognition from changemakers — their soul ached to be closer to transformation itself, not just its infrastructure.
So they returned to the body.
Now, as the creator of Emotional Body Mapping, Brook guides others through the terrain of their own inner landscape — pairing nervous system work with strategic clarity, intuitive coaching, and somatic listening. Their toolbox includes modalities like DBT, NLP, NVC, Thai massage, Chinese nutrition, trauma-informed coaching, and years of psychic development work. It’s not just about getting unstuck — it’s about becoming radically present with the truth of who you are, and learning to build from there.

They’re the one who will sit with you, see your tangled ideas, and help pull out the red thread of your brilliance — organizing your gifts into a clear, compelling offering that’s true to your values and rooted in care. They believe strategy doesn’t have to be soulless, and community can be the strongest structure of all.
